KISS
Kids In Satans Service! Does anyone remember them being referred to as that?...lol I saw KISS when they reunited for one of their final tours back in 1999 or 2000. I'll have to check my stub forsure. They played at the Palace. It was an excellent concert!! No doubt! I was blown away. The pyrotechnics is what was really impressive. And I'm not a big KISS fan, but I was that night. The only reason I went was because Ted Nugent and Skid Row were playing too. Plus my husband and his friend are diehard KISS fans and wanted badly to go. There's nothing like going to a live rock concert! This past year I went to see Fleetwood Mac at the Palace. I was definitely taken by their performance even after all these years. The moment they came on I was in tears. I never get that way in public...lol Very emotional experience for me because they were one of my favorite groups from my teens and I never got a chance to see them back then. On the 4th of July we were at the Silverdome for the Summer Sanitarium Tour. Metallica headlined with Linkin Park, Limpbisquit, Mudvayne and a few more. That was the best concert I've ever been too. Only problem was the air conditioning was not working. This was on the 4th of July inside the Silverdome to boot. This was a 9 hour concert. Thought I was gonna die of heat stroke. It cost $3 just to buy a cup of water. A couple weeks later we were at DTE, also know as Pine Knobb to see Ozzfest. Now that is a great place to have a concert. You're outdoors in the fresh air. Once gain an excellent night. Marilyn Manson performed. I am not a fan of him or his music. I think he's an idiot. But he really nows how to put on a show. It's something you've never seen. |
