It's sad, they were gunned down in the car, with multiple shots beofre they could even react.

DPD Officers.

My question is why was this pair with limited experience, and youth working that precint, that shift, in that locaton ?

It appears this was not a ideal deployment of officer experience, and strengths in a known high risk, crime area.

Just wonder as to the DPD rationale on this coverage & patrol assigment?

New DPD officers ride with a seasoned officer for 6 months to a year. They are not put out on patrol by them selves in there 1st year. Between those officers you had a combined 7 yrs experience. There have been DPD officers with alot more experience than that, that have fallen. Remember they were ambushed. No matter how much experience you have, MIGHT not have really helped much.

Based on what I know - perhaps you should spend more time managing yourself rather than everyone else.

Some people have nothing better to do than find fault with others.
I agree with Jafo take care of yourself and your family not everyone else, get a hobby, or take a vacation , you surely need one. That way you can think of other ways you can critize others.
