Dan, the answers to your questions are right there on the sex offender site. It defines what each offense is, ie:1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th degree, and even includes all the different codes. I went to the explanation page and printed it out so when I started looking at the offenders it was in front of me. It is somewhat detailed. They tell you basically what the offender is on the list for. For example, each component of the charge has meaning, including whether a weapon was used, if there was penetration, if it was with a child under 13, and so on. Go back to the site and print the explanations before you browse the offenders, it is quite helpful.
