I guess I'm the only person on this forum who has no idea who keiko is, where his business is or was.
I don't even know if he's a Wyanodtte resident.

Yes I Can
Keiko is a Wyand businessman and interested in fair and open government an pen political process. Keiko feels that retiring city emplyees should not be eligible for a 4 yr council term until having sat out 1 full year. Keiko supports only qualified candidates run for city council and the gentlemen who has declared is simply NOT Qualified. In spite of his earnests wifes support, he is not qulaified has no outsdide job experience now they are typcial Democrats VICTIMS of a SOCIETY which doesn't understand that its only good intentions which count, not valid experience...NOT!!!!! |

I'm Waiting For That Answer Also
This Keiko must have been on the Charter Revision Commission as he is still dreaming that his new charter must have passed with those new ''qualified candidate'' requirements. Unfortunately for him, he must have been dreaming, as I checked the existing charter and you only need to be a ''qualified elector'' that means registered voter and you have to have been a resident for one year by the date of the election. You need to file a petition with the city clerk declaring your candidacy and you need to have that petition signed by at least 1% of the registered voters or pay a $100 filing fee. Keiko can say anything he wants about what he thinks a candidate should be, but the Charter is the Law and it says nothing about a one year waiting period or the need for certain kind of prior work experience. I think I have written this before, so I wonder why some poeple has such a hard time understanding it. |
