shed materials

I would like to make my shed more functional and not use it just as a storage unit. An 8x10 just doesn't cut it. Does anyone know if there are any ordinances on how high the shed has to be or if there can be any overhangs?

From what I've experienced. It can't be any bigger then a 8x10, not sure about height. Must get City Permit and aleast 15 feet from property lines. Also roof must have A frame and colors must match your roof and home. I would call the City of Milford or the new HOA or Lacrosse to get a book. If it doesn't state I guess you could do anything. Wish I thought about height before building mine. Good idea.

I called the City today and found that it has to be 5' from the property lines.
