We made it to fall with its welcome cool nights and mild days. Hope every one is doing well and happy in our lovely community.
We have a few events coming up and bits of news to share. Check out the web site a mcchoa.us for more info on MCC.

Saturday 10/6 is the day set for the fall clean up of the entrance. We will mainly be trimming and mulching this year as the watering restriction limit what we can do. Come on down and help out from 9 am to 11 am.

Saturday 10/20, 6 PM till -?, is the fall picnic. It will be in the upper Lima Court cul- de- sac and is open to all residents of the neighborhood. The HOA is furnishing hamburgers and hot dogs. Please bring a side dish to share, your favorite beverage and chairs. RSVP with Bob and Glenda Stone at 770-928-4025

Elections for new HOA officers will be 1/15/2008. Be thinking what position you want to run for, as nomination forms will be distributed 12/1/2007.

New water restrictions went into effect 9/28/2007. Check the Cherokee county water and sewage authority for details. Their site is ccwsa.com

We thank the county for their replacement of the storm drain cover at mill creek and Caracas dr. This is a big improvement and hopefully will last.

Be careful when driving through the neighborhood as more children are out playing and dusk is coming sooner. The posted speed limit is 15 mph and please come to a complete stop at the stop signs.
Our street signs are looking great thanks to the talent of Jasper Harold. He spent many hours repairing and painting them and it adds to our community. Thank you Jasper!

Membership forms are included for the 2008 year for the Homeowners Association. For only $.14 a day or $50.00 a year your membership allows us to maintain the front entrance landscaping, lighting and watering. Repairing of the street signs, the web site, newsletter publishing and funds for capital improvements. We thank you in advance for your continued support.
