Happy fall and a hardy good welcome to all our new neighbors in Mill Creek Crossing. We are glad you choose our fair community. Please call on any one with the HOA if you have any questions or concerns about Mill Creek Living.

You may have noticed that we had the two willow trees removed at the entrance. One was dying and the other was not far behind. We were told that willows only live about 20 years. Nick Steward gave us a very fair price and you can contact him at 678-446-8007 if you have any tree work needed.

Fall cleanup day is scheduled for Saturday 10/21 at 9am to 11am.
This is when we replace the flowers with winter hardy plants and add mulch, trim the right of way and generally spruce up the entrance. Please come on down and help out and meet your neighbors. The first 30 people will receive free coffee and doughnuts! Don?’t be late.

Our home values are rising. That is good news since our home is most of ours largest investment. The median value is $ 210,560 and the appreciated 4.9% over the last 12 months. This is probably a good spot to put in a plug for the homeowners association. We are currently having our 2006/2007-membership drive. For a mer $50.00 a year the common areas are maintained, wooden street signs repaired and Newsletter published. This is strictly a voluntary group unlike some of our larger neighborhoods. And $50.00 Vs 475.00 of higher is a deal.

Helpful home tip
Fall is a good time to replace your furnace filters so it will operate more efficiently and your air will be cleaner. Don?’t forget to change your smoke detector batteries and carbon monoxide detector batteries to be safe in the event of an emergency

Election time is coming for Mill Creek

January is when we elect new officers and a board of directors. Be thinking of people you would like to nominate or if you would like to help out and run for office. Forms will be distributed and time and place designated in
December.
