There is a selectman running for re=election and a former member of tne Braintree Electric Light Department who hired Neighborhood Link. This selectman is not very well liked especially after his abismal showing the past year on the Board of Selectmen. When talk started about his upcoming re-election, the talk about it page was quickly shut down. |

If BELD is considered a branch of the government of Braintree, and Neighborhood link is an agent of BELD, then there really is a legal violation of Braintree's First Amendment Rights, and I quote... ''Bill of Rights Amendment I Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.''
