CFNBA - CNI/Fondy North Business Association has taken another step for the Merchant, the Neighborhood and for LEADERSHIP in NEIGHBORHOOD GOVERNANCE.

FOURTEEN
There are fourteen (14) positions that will lead the strategic planning, implementation and policy making efforts to make the Inner City of Milwaukee neighborhoods linked by collective work, responsibility and cooperative economics.

CFNBA has adopted two principles of Kwanzaa - Ujimi and Ujama.

>>Ujimi - collective work and responsibility
>> Ujama - cooperative economics

TERRITORIAL
One of the ongoing efforts of the Council is to dismantle barriers caused by:
>>>Lack of information
>>>Lack of communication
>>>Misconception due to deception
>>>Pet projects and projects of favor
>>>Projects created by City Government that lack coordination first with the people - residential and business
>>>Resolutions and ordinances passed by the Alderpersons that lack Citizen leadership and participation/concensus

The officers represent a broadbase of business stakeholders that take pride in seeing that the Inner City is a place of robust business and quality of life for all.

PRESIDENT
Maurice Richard Hopkins is the first President.

He is a twenty-year (20) U. S. Marine Corps Retiree and Owner of Four/For Men Afield.

Maurice, his cabinet and committees will work in concert with Mary Glass - Chair/CEO of Campaign Neighborhood - CFNBA; the umbrella organization.

''They are to provide BOLD and INNOVATIVE leadership'', said Mary Glass.
