MONTEFINO VILLAGE NEWS
FEBRUARY 2010
Gate Issues. The forcing open of the Jacaranda entry gate caused a $500 repair expense. Forcing gates open is likely to damage them and amounts to vandalism. If you see this occurring please report the incident to our property manager. If you can do so without danger to yourself, please ascertain the individual’s identity.
Common Area. Recent flooding of our retention ponds presents the opportunity to remind you that Section 10.15 of the CC & Rs makes each owner liable for any harm that our common area causes to themselves, their families, occupants, invitees, guests and others.
Storm Damage. The January 21 storm, that included heavy rain followed by what is called a microburst, caused the loss of 73 trees in our community. The Board had the downed and damaged trees of Lot Owners removed at no cost to them. The replacing of such trees would normally be the responsibility of the owner. In conjunction with our tree and landscape service vendors, we are formulating a plan to make the replacement of trees more economically feasible for all of us. Within the next 30 days we will be advising you of that plan.
Solicitations. Solicitations are prohibited in our community and that notice is included at our entry gates. Should you see people distributing leaflets/flyers please courteously advise them of this rule.
Newsletters. This newsletter, and other pertinent materials, is posted on our bulletin boards and on our web page accessible through www.neighborhoodlink.com/chandler/mv under Neighborhood Information. We also would like to offer email group communications to owners. If you wish to participate, please advise Tennille Laidlaw (Telephone 480-704-2900) of your email address.
