 Montefino Rules Enforcement. Enforcement of rules is never an easy part of community management. As we all await a return to better economic times, the Board has been concentrating on keeping our community attractive, and in general, focusing on those matters that protect property values.

The Ocotillo Community Association enforces its rules that control our community. We enforce our rules through our property manager who issues violations notices to owners. Through the month of May eighty rules violations were issued with the distribution being: Rental Agreements 56%; Lot and Landscape Maintenance 21%; Miscellaneous 9%; Trash/Recycle Bins 6%; Parking 4%; Signs 4%.

Not all rules pertaining to the community are found in the CC&Rs. The Board has an informational piece entitled Montefino Village Rules and Information. It includes many items from the CC&Rs and Board enacted rules that represent some of the basic rules that govern day-to-day life in our community. Trash/Recycle Bins. We are beginning on a program to identify trash and recycle bins. Some residents already identify their bins to avoid mix-ups with other residences. The City of Chandler keeps a listing of bin numbers and the residents to whom they are assigned, but in some instances you may be using a different numbered bin than is listed for your residence. We will soon be taping a form to your bins on trash and recycle collection days asking you to list your name and address. With your cooperation, we hope to have the process completed in the fall.
