There are too many golf carts, scooters and 4 wheelers driving up and down Dogwood Meadows Lane. These are driven by underage drivers and are inappropriate for travel on roads. The scooters are a problem because the drivers of these are very young. I saw one recently with no helmet. Golf carts and 4 wheelers frequently congest the road. Apparently 1 recently hit the work vehicle of a E.M. resident who also happens to care for lawns as a side business. An unpleasant altercation followed with one irrational DML resident nearly arrested. Apparently retribution followed as the lawncare worker's mailbox was deliberately run over. This has been a growing problem and the HOA needs to issue strict guidelines to follow the law which states the vehicles are improper and underage drivers will be ticketed per the sheriff's dept. Parents---BE RESPONSIBLE!!!

The problem not only lies with these underage kids driving these vehicles...the real problem lies with their parents allowing them to do so. If parents were doing their job they would not allow these kids out on the roads period...no exception. I blame these irresponsible parents more than i blame the kids.

I agree there are way too many unsupervised children turned lose on the streets with golf carts, ATVs, etc. The responsibility is with the parents - not the HOA.
