My concerns about this new retail center are:
Increased traffic being directly positioned into the neighborhood including delivery trucks at all hours of the night and day, garbage trucks, patron traffic.
Intoxicated drivers from the restaurants that will be there.
Trash, speeding, cars driving down the center of the street, rolling stop signs, etc.
The delivery entrance is directly in-line with Hoffman Drive. This doesnt even take into account the daily traffic that will be cutting through to Davis via Ramies, Hoffman and Corran Ferry.
Please help me brainstorm ideas to present to the developer which will at the very least, get us the best of the worst deal!
Ideas so far:
Right turn only signs to keep traffic from entering Sendera
Heavy landscaping
Traffic Island to reduce speeds as traffic bolts out of that driveway.
Height bar to limit deliveries to that driveway.
Your thoughts?
