Annual Meeting

The Moon Mountain Vista Homeowners Association Annual Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, November 19, 2006 at 5:15 p.m. The meeting will take place at the west end of Acoma.

Due to the passing of HB 2154, effective August 12, 2005, proxies will no longer be used and will be replaced by absentee ballots. Please read this notice carefully if you are interested in serving on the Board.

Two director position is available this year with a three year term. If you are interested in running for this position, please either fax or mail the nomination form attached with this mailing. Please also include a brief bio of yourself, why you are interested in running, what you may have to offer the Community to be included in the mailing of the Annual Meeting Notice. The filled out nomination form and bio must be received by November 19, 2006 at 5:15 p.m. in order for your name to be placed on the absentee ballot.

Once the nominations are received an absentee ballot will be sent to each Owner prior to the Annual Meeting containing their names and a brief bio of those candidates that are running for the position. Further instructions on how to fill out the absentee ballot will be included in the second mailing.

The By-Laws of the Association require 40% of Homeowners to be represented, in person or by absentee ballot, at this annual meeting in order for it to be officially recognized.

In the event that your assessments are not paid in full by November 19, 2005, your absentee ballot will not be counted towards the election of the new Board member.

Submarine Sandwiches, chips, and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided by the Association. All we ask is that you bring a yummy side dish to share among the community! Please bring a chair for each member of your family that will be attending! If you have an extra folding table that the Association could borrow for the evening, we would appreciate it! The event will be held at the west end of Acoma.

Please remember that if you cannot attend the meeting you will need to fill out the ballot form and mail to CARETAKER INC., P.O. BOX 4171, MESA, AZ 85211 or FAX AT 480-545-8020 no later than November 19, 2005 at 5:15 p.m. You may also give your ballot to a member who will attend the meeting.

There will be discussion at the Annual Meeting regarding new exterior paint colors to add to the approved list. If you are interested in knowing the new color scheme or would like to give some input we ask that you attend the meeting and express your concerns.

The Association By-Laws require a 40% quorum of the membership in order for this meeting to be officially recognized!
