Would someone please tell me who is minding the store? I see so many violations and they have been doing the same violation for months. Why? Boats RV's Ski doo's trailers. MLHOA is a laughing joke.

You Can Do Something

If you are concerned with the fact the HOA is not doing something about the violations, send them a letter and explain in detail what you want them to do. Also, you might want to attend the next meeting and address your concerns. You can also contact the Mayor's Action Center at 327-4622 to register a complaint. Not everyone is going to be 100% in agreement with the covenants and commitments. You will never have total compliance. We need to get people involved and enforce the covenants. Some of the violations are against the Municpal Code of the City of Indianapolis in addition to the covenants. Our dues pay for the enforcement of these covenants. They were written to protect our property values. If all else fails, consult an attorney and file a lawsuit. Or you may just have to live with it, elect new officers or move.
