Hello, long time reader 1st time responder.

My son is wanting to take drum lessons, what all do I need to know about lessons?

How many lessons do you suggest a student should have per week?

How do your lessons go? What will my child be learning?

Does he need to bring his own set? Or will you have one for him to play on or will he be playing on drum pads?

Where are the lessons located? I see at your home, but in which town? Muscatine, Fruitland, Wilton?

Any information would be great.

Hi Nenna! That's great your son wants to take lessons. We can customize lessons around what he would like to learn, if he is a beginner and would like to play snare drum we will use a lesson book you can purchase from me or any music store. If he is interested in learning how to play a drum set we can certainly do that also.

As far as hardware that would be up to you either we have the lessons on my snare/drum set and he can practice at home with a practice pad or you can get him his own snare drum kit and sticks in either case he will need a pair of sticks.

The lessons will be in my home in Muscatine and depending on his level we can start him with one half hour session per week. I will be giving lessons on Monday and Thursday starting in late January. If you are intersted please call me at 563-260-7040
