my suggestion is that you have to know someone who took that class immediately before you in the prior semester. then if the class is still using the same book/edition, you could find some savings. it is hard to do this.

for your information, a different suggestion concerns income tax savings (a loophole) on college tuition payments. the tax savings will vary depending on the facts and amount paid, but it could be a minimum of $100-$200 and up to $500-$2000 max (like i said, depending on the circumstances).

I've never done this, but I'm told that if you can get the ''code'' off of the back of the book you can get used books off the internet pretty cheap. One gal used to brag that her books were only costing her $25-$30 bucks. We were taking Iowa Wesleyan classes and she always had a tough time because the bookstore at IWC wouldn't give her the codes. I wish I could remember the website she used to order them from.
