Nomad, I want to say that I respect you for the fact that you will still consider Mr. Summy your friend, though how good of a friend I can't help wonder.
Of course, you all know where I stand on the legalization of marijuana, and the fact that this guy was found guilty , mainly on the testimony of a jilted ex-wife and his partner in the whole deal. is a bunch of s**t. What I find really funny is, according to the journal, the guys who were growing it in Keokuk said that he only was involved in the selling, not manufacture, but still charged and convicted. The whole thing stinks. I really hate these woosies that are just as complicit in a crime(?), but turn redcoat to save their own asses. this Anderson guy even said in court, ''Mr. Summy never saw the marijuana.'' I have to ask. If Mr. Summy NEVER saw the marijuana, then how the hell could he sell it. Ya, I know it's all legal semantics and wording and blah, blah, blah.
I just hope that none of you who railed on him so bad(fyi2 and others), ever have any of your indiscretions come to light.
I hope he gets the minimum and I hope the other two get the most for being two-faced rats.

You and I think too much alike. I haven't been reading any of the posts on this subject, but I too am slow to kick someone down in the dirt. So many people are so fast to cast a stone when they have a closet full of skeletons. People like you and I lay it out there, i.e: DRUNKenfool, STONERvote. How many people out there that poopoo this guy and are really closet: pedofiles, gays, perscription drug abusers, internet porn lookers after their family has went to bed, overeaters, cutters,bulemic,incesters,people who have aborted their babies,adulterers, and booger eaters? The list goes on. But as long as their secret is never known, they continue to judge other people. Guess what, I know people who have done everyone of those things I wrote and some of them really act like their poo don't stink....(as long as their secret doesn't get out). I hope some of you are squirming while you read this.
Anyways SV most people don't get it because they think boogers have nutritional value.

I'm a booger eater. It's been a few 24 hours since I've eaten my last booger. By the grace of God and a few friends around this table, I hope to not eat a booger today...tomorrow might be a different story...just as long as I don't eat a booger today, I'll be alright. One day at a time.
