Hey, I appreciate the comment. I think that we might have grown up around the same timeframe together. I'm a Viet Nam Vet, retired from the City of Muscatine (after 30 years), now working a full time job (to help support a 38 year old step daughter, and 2 grandkids), have 7 grandkids total. Love my Goldwing motorcycle (which I have to sell), worked in the hospitality industry (full and part-time) for 40 years, and, smoked a little weed, back in Nam. Smokin' or juicin' back then sure helped! Anyway, Had AIT @ Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey, spent a LOT of time in NYC. And, generally LOVED the East Coast. I've been through a lot, and because of that, have developed my personna because of that. I had strongly considered running for the City Council this time around, but, did not want the low pay, long hours, and constant public scrutiny like is event on this site. There are a lot of people on this site that I respect because of their life experiences and their demeanor. I appreciate (I assume), you putting me in their company. Then, there are others, that seem to just want to stir the pot. Constructive debate is good. Name calling and constant put downs are not. I attempt to do the former. Now you know my life history in a nutshell. Again, I appreciate the kind words. You are generally a good read. You've noticed, that the East Coast mentality doesn't always play here. Hope you have a GREAT Labor Day. As usual, I get to ''labor'' through it!
