What happened to Roger Roth? Always interesting quoting ''some'' constitutional laws or whatever? Maybe he's inventing some ''miracle cures'' and building calliopes. Certainly, a ''character'' of Muscatine. And there is nothing wrong with that!!

In an IQ test, hands down, Roger would more than likely kick all our butts...

Intelligence alone does not make one a great leader. I know too many people with ridiculously high IQs who simply can't relate to people, and I think that's an important quality in a city leader.

I think DF or SV should run for mayor!

It would make for a most interesting election, don't you think?

I don't know Roger, but I think anyone who thinks they can do a good job as mayor should run. For all the letters he writes to The Journal expressing how he thinks things should be....I think he should give it a shot....put his money where his mouth (or pen/keyboard) is. It would be nice to see a real race in the Mayoral election. Dick, The Kid, Roger...anyone else you can think of?
