I am wide awake. Couldn't sleep. Been rambling around the house and am now sitting in front of the puter.

This is the first really cold night so I want all of you to be prepared. The following might enlighten you.

It was already late fall and the Indians of a remote reservation in
South Dakota asked their new chief if the coming winter was going to be cold or mild. Since he was a chief in a modern society he had never been taught the old secrets. When he looked at the sky he couldn?’t tell what winter was going to be like. Nevertheless, to be on the safe side, he told his tribe that the winter was indeed going to be cold and that the members of the village should collect firewood to be prepared. Being a practical leader, after several days he got an idea. He went to the phone booth, called the national weather service and asked, ?“Is the coming winter going to be cold??”

?“It looks like this winter is going to be quite cold,?” the meteorologist at the weather service responded.?”

So the chief went back to his people and told them to collect even more firewood in order to be prepared. A week later he called the national weather service again. ?“Does it still look like it is going to be a very cold winter??”

?“Yes,?” the man at the national weather service again replied, ?“It?’s going to be a very cold winter.?”

The Chief again went back to his people and ordered them to collect every scrap of firewood they could find. Two weeks later the chief called the national weather service again. ?“Are you absolutely sure that the winter is
Going to be very cold??”

?“Absolutely,?” the man replied. ?“It?’s looking more and more like it is going to be one of the coldest winters we?’ve ever seen.?”

?“How can you be so sure??” the chief asked.

The weatherman replied, ?“The Indians are collecting firewood like crazy.?”

I been up since 4am. Got my 5 hours sleep, got my coffee, desperately need donuts but can't have 'em.
Hey, that was a funny story. Reminds me, the weatherman is talking frost this weekend. Hear that Kenn?
I just came from the my way boards. You may get tired of hearing me talk of it but their administrator is more on the ball. Every morning many offensive and senseless posts from the night before are gone. They don't get them all but eventually get them. Anyway, gotta go get rid of some of this coffee. Good morning

I have been out and had coffee so I am ready to face the beautifull day.
Every day is great with some being better than others. I will not think so this time next week as it will be that time again, but it will get better.
Yes nedl a little frost may not hurt as it makes the fish bite better. I will make you a deal, I will accept the frost if you keep the snow away for a while. It makes the fishing tough.
I am glad to hear from you, I have been very busy on another wood project but I will be doing some fishing this week so the project will have to be put on hold.
Some how there is just not enough hours in a day for me to get everything in I want to do.
