Why do I see ''anonymous'' as a poster, more often than not? On tonight's front page, 14 out of 20 were posted anonymous. Many of you are regulars? Some of you complained about others that won't return a cart. Why can't you take the time to type in your name on the optional author line?
You may have very good reasons I am not aware of. I still don't agree with or understand the need for multiple identities. I'm really trying to understand this new world, guys. Your name is posted anonomymous, but revealed @ the end of your post.
Don't you believe in what you have to say? If I have a few moments to myself, I'd like to hear what the people I choose to listen to have to say. Frankly, I get frustrated when a person has an AWESOME post, but posts anonomymous! Take credit, take the criticism! Say what you mean & mean what you say, then read it over before pushing the send button. If you push that button & regret it, believe that some may blast you, but others will understand. Isn't that what neighbors do? That's how I operate & I expect no more or less from my friends. That is why I feel comfortable asking this question of you, a few of you friends.
I apologize if it's something that is done & don't want to seem ignorant. I really am just trying to understand. I swear!

I am not sure about the answer either. I think some of this is just being lazy. I would prefer that everyone put their name on the ''author'' line as it would help me decide if I wanted to read the post or not. I would assume that some of our neighbors have multiple identities but I have no proof of that.

In the past, some have posted the names of others on the author line rather than there own but that is only a ruse since the real author's name will be posted after the article.

I guess most of us have just gotten use to this but I would like for everyone to post their name on the author's line
