Lil

Don't forget the nitwits and their kids that think the car next to them is a good door stop. One of the main reasons I don't go there and haven't for years. The lot isn't large enough, if you park 100 yards away from everyone when you come out your car will be surrounded by the nastiest beaters in town.

That's for sure!

I've never understood that and thought it was just me. I ALWAYS park clear at the end or way over to one side in hopes that nobody will park next to me. Ha! Just like you said, always there's somebody right next to me when I come out. AND not only that, but they're usually parked so close it's almost impossible to get in or to open the passenger door.

And strangely enough, that happens more at Wal-Mart than other places, although I came out of Hy-Vee one day to find a car parked so close to the driver's side that I had to get in the passenger door, and I was parked WAY away from the store entrance.

And as far as the morons who leave carts: I've seen carts in a parking space a few feet from the cart corral. Are people so lazy nowadays they won't walk 10 feet to put the cart away? Never mind..obviously they are, or the lot wouldn't be littered with carts.

Sorry lil,

But I refuse to do the self checkout thing. My view is that if I wanted to work there, I'd fill out an application! Whats next? I suppose they'll have us stocking the shelves or sweeping the floors.
