to hear all the testimony, nor see any of the evidence, but I truly believe our judicial system works. I've always thought that, even when OJ got acquitted...didn't agree with it, but accepted it out of respect for our system.
I think too, that James Weaver is an intelligent man and a good attorney, and probably did the best he could with what he had.
I realize too, that a lot of women in abusive relationships...out of fear, simply stay until they snap. I don't think that was the case here. These two dated for a matter of drug and alcohol filled weeks, and what happened, while tragic, was not, in my opinion, a woman just defending herself from an abusive boyfriend, nor do I think she was incapacitated because of her drug or alcohol use. Drunk or high, she may have been, but regardless, I think you are still responsible for your actions. I think this woman used that excuse, and it didn't work with the jury.
