Is it me or is their a chill running up the spine of the Grand Old Party of late in their ability to maintain the White House let alone recapture lost seats in both the Congress and Senate?
I'd be interested to know some of the thoughts of our esteemed conservatives here at Neighborhood Link in this regard. Also, I'd like to ask our conservative friends of their opinion on how the Conservative Evangelical Right, aka GOP, a party who runs so hard as the party with strong family values, can have so many avowed, albiet alleged, homosexuals falling out of the closet. Names such as Foley and Craig are just two that come to mind. Not to mention the Episcopalian minister whose name escapes me, Jeff ''Bulldog'' Gannon, Karl ''Turdblossom'' Rove, Trent Lott and Oral, I mean Orrin Hatch.
I fully understand that some are alleged homosexuals. But as compassionate Conservative Christians with very strong beliefs, how do our conservative friends respond to these types of flagrant and admitted lifestyles? Of course the argument with Craig will be that he was trying to avoid publicity, just make it all go away, but it didn't did it? I believe the country has already made up it's mind about this Singing Senator with his wandering eye, wide stance and prediliction for playing bathroom stall footsie.
What say you my conservative friends? Enlighten us with your opinions.
