Why is it, or where did it become acceptable to use profane speech as a means of everyday communication? Where did the social fabric split open and let all manners of speech fall to the wayside instead being replaced with four letter diatribes and uncomplimentary talk? I feel like we are not teaching our society as a whole by allowing them to simply talk in a profane way. I simply feel that people in general are becoming lazy and very apathetic toward having to converse in a real and very polite manner. I will say that it does take more of an effort to talk in a civilized manner, than it is to just drop the ''f word in our conversations. The english language is shown such a disespect when any number of words or phrases could convey a point or argument in a better manner than the use of profanity. I am NOT implying or seeking to limit ones free speech, rather to ask that we expand our vocabularies instead of limiting them. I would as your opinions on this, and I challenge all who would respond to do so and not use profane speech in your response. I think that doing so might just improve the dialogue and chat that goes on here.
