How much ad nauseum are we going to have to put up with bigbrother? Your constant rant about Democrats promising change and not effecting change is getting as old as the leadership coming from this current administration.

I seem to remember George W. Bush promising that he'd capture Osama Bin Laden and return the free world to safety from terrorism. I also remember Bush telling me, an American citizen, that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction and it was imparitive that we oust him from power and restore Iraq to a democracy. So when is George W. Bush and the rest of the Republican Party going to keep their promise?

Here we are six (6) years and 8 days later and Osama Bin Laden is still running loose, the Iraq war has turned into a secular civil war quagmire, Bush now has the unmitigated gall to accuse Paul Bremer for being at fault, never mind that Paul Bremer was Bush's handpicked man. Bush, who continues to cycle through Generals who'll prop up his doomed foreign policy until they arrive in Iraq and discover the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth about the war.

Tell us bigbrother, in the past 6 years and 8 days, how many Generals and Joint Chiefs have changed hands under this current administration?

What have the Republicans done to save American. Well let's see, they enacted legislation to give us our own jackbooted police force known as Homeland Security. They've managed to spend money like a drunken sailor to the tune of quadrupeling (sp?) the national deficit. They've ensconsed themselves as hypocrites to family values by the numerous homosexual activities and proclivities they've participated in or allowed to manifest. They've managed to push the suspension of habeus corpus, a law which not only protects me bigbrother but also served to protect you. They've managed to forego the building of a security fence at our southern border. A security fence that was funded at more than ten billion dollars by those same Republicans who now want to offer amnesty to over 2.5 million illegal aliens in our country.

Boy, I sure sleep better at night knowing how safe I am here in America thanks to our Republican leaders.

The list can go on and on between both of us. You don't want to effect any real change because then you'd have nothing to squawk about. Rather than be content coming here to share relevant information with your neighbors you choose instead the same, tired, old mantra of JPica.

You know it really doesn't matter what gets done. All this sh$t is pre-ordained anyway. Do you actually believe the 2008 vote for President is on the up and up? Do you actually believe that touch press voting machines cannot be manipulated to effect the outcome in certain swing states. Do you actually believe the people in Washington, D.C. have your best interests at heart regardless of your political affiliation?

I agreed with your post. Our government needs a house cleaning. However without a act of treason and the power to over throw our government we must be willing to change it from with in. Which of course means we'll need to post the many ideas of all the people running for office. In doing so it would be nice to remain respectful to the other points of view. I felt my post on the Edwards healthcare plan did that. I apologize Bigbrother did not agree. If you notice I have chosen not to ingage in his mud slinging. This is not to say if he chooses to mature and asks me a adult question I will not respond.

As far as an act of treason or overthrowing our gov't. I'm all for it. We're WAY overdue for a revolution in this country. An election won't fix things, only total uphevel will make a sound difference.
