Republicons filibustered a senate motion that would have given our troops as much time at hame as they serve abroad. Demoncrats couldn't raise the 60 votes required to break the filabuster and allow the motion an up or down vote.

Why do the republcons hate our troops?

Why wouldn't they allow an up or down vote on a bi-partisan motion to support our troops?

Thank you for demonstrating my point from another post. Demoncrats promised leadership and that ''they'' would bring our troops home before the last elections.

They don't have enough majority, and always fall short of the necessary 60 votes. That clearly is not leadership. They just cannot deliver.
