I read the posts re: the new Thai restraunt coming to town.
My opinion: How WONDERFUL & exciting! WHY are there a few negative responses beforehand? It's something different & NEW! Good Lord, anyone that attempts to open up a new place in a small town has an uphill battle! Why be judgemental & close-minded before it happens?
BRAVO to them for having the guts to try! How dare any of us ''knock it before we try it?''
Muscatine needs this...we need diversity. Forget petty concerns with who/what/how the money is being spent ''downtown''! This person has come to Muscatine to try and make a living and share a food and culture they hope we will learn to appreciate! Can't we at least give them a chance before blasting them?
Taking on this venture is costing the restraunt owners ''very real money, time, hopes & dreams that this will work''. Why in the world would ANYONE want to take that away from them before they had a chance to show us what they can offer?
