There is no doubt in my mind. EVERY presidential candidate is a machocist or a moron. Why do I think that? Think about what the unlucky person who ''wins'' will inherit.
1. A depleted, wore out military.
2. An economy that is propped up to appear somewhat healthy. Did you know the Canadian dollar is now worth one U.S. dollar? Was not long ago one US dollar was worth $1.50 Canadian.
3. A misused Social security system.
4. No do-able national health plan.
5. More national disasters looming on the horizon.
6. Immigration and race problems.
7. Serious drug and crime problems.
8. Not to mention increasing terrorism threats.
No sane person will even hint that they have the answers to all that and urge you to vote them in. So, bottom line- It don't really matter which candidate ''wins''. We all are losing. We can no longer turn the corner or reverse things. So, praise your god and hang on.

Everyone seems to forget...

that whoever wins the election, man or woman, they are just that: a man or woman. A human being. Not a diety(though our current Pres thinks otherwise). They're human. Prone to error. Prone to poor judgement from time to time. Do we expect them to be a little smarter, wiser and more academic than the rest of us? Of course. Does that mean that if they are all that we expect them to be, they won't make mistakes from time to time? Of course NOT!!
Anyone who feels that they have the answers to all the problems has to be a little crazy anyway.
You are right about one thing for sure, nedl. Whoever becomes our next Pres. is definitely going to inheret a WHOLE LOT of big problems, more than any other incoming President has since probably Nixon and the Vietnam War.
