Went on line late last night. Was reading online newspapers from Iran, Syria, Qatar and China just to name a few. It's really telling in reading the articles in there how they think of us,especially the Iranian state run paper. I urge you all to check some out. Go to www.newhopepa.com/News/Intl_News and you'll find a list of countries and their papers.
The most arousing article I read was from Islamic Republic News Agency(Iran). Go to the page, click on English in top left corner. Then, look on the right side under Top News. Go down to the title ''Iran denies cooperating with zionists in plane crash''. Crazy stuff.

Some time ago

I subscribed to a magazine that had different articles from different papers from around the world. I wish I could tremember the name...CRAP...anyay...it was a real eye opener to compare what is written in the major newspapers around the world compared to what is written in our papers. Different spins from different nations. Every once in a while I'll watch BBC news or German news on TV just to see different sides. It's interesting...

I choose not to read...

I choose not to read any ''major'', or minor, foreign newspaper or listen to any foreign news source that is sponsored by that country's government, including the BBC.
Here in the U.S., we've traditionally separated the Federal government from control of in-country news sources. There are a few rare exceptions in history. All news sources that are not so separated are suspect, in my opinion.
