you are trying to shame those of us who did no service time, I apologize for that. I apologize for having a childhood disease that left me with a heart problem that kept me out of the military. That same problem also kept me out of Alcoa and other desirable workplaces. You won't believe how bad I wanted to just be a soldier. Two of my sons made up the difference though. One did two hitches and another 20+ years. I hope that satisfies your curiosity. |

to apologize Nedl. Many wanted to serve their country and were not allowed to do so. That's the travesity of the military. Those who want to serve can't and those who don't want to serve really have no choice. I'm certain you are very proud of your sons which you should well be. I further certain they are two well respected individuals properly raised with respect and honor. |
