I have never said I was in any branch of the military or served in any war. How about yourself? If you're going to try and use my response as a way to criticize me for criticizing this war and administration, perhaps saying I'm unpatriotic or something, save your breath. It ain't gonna work.
I actually joined the Army. Had my picture in the paper, had my orders(Ft. Knox - was to be a armored tank driver), the whole nine yards. Then I got a letter detaching me from the enlistment because they found marijuana in my system. I know that after basic, I most likely would have wound up in Kosovo and been blown up like some many tanks were in that little war.

I guess you could say pot saved my life. Way to go weed. Way to go.

what this is all about? Hey SV my hats off to you my man. At least you had the cajones to enlist, serve through boot even if you were discharged for marijuana in your system. You made the effort man. Like grass would have kept you from defending your fellow troopers.
You've got nothing to be ashamed of. Sounds to me like the Army let the wrong man go. Especially in light of these Blackwater idiots they've got running around defeating the whole purpose of the military's role in Iraq.
