The Journal reports that Bob Howard is running for a state rep seat for District 80. Anyone know this fellow personally? Seems to have a pretty good history as far as business experience. Anyone...Anyone...Bueller...Bueller...

Bob Howard

Bob and I went through grade/highschool together (graduated in 66). Bob had worked for Webber Button Company since Methusila was a corporal. His wife & him owned/owns a store downtown. I have not had the opportunity to follow his actions on the City Council, but, from his verbage in the paper, etc., he sounds like he wants to be pretty gun ho if he gets to Des Moines! Will he do a good job, does he know what he's talking about? I'll reserve my thoughts for ''off screen'' comments. I understand that he's a bigwig in the local Republican party. There'll be a a forum on the local channel again ( I would assume), take it in, and see what you think.
