My husband and I have had some very beautiful pets throughout our marriage. Every one of them became a part of our family! We have had to deal with some of the very real and sad consequences that loving another soul can bring us, human or not, just like you all have shared. I TRULY believe that our pets are a gift from God, giving us that tangible, unconditional love we all hope for!
Thank God for the family that shared this, in their deepest sorrow. They appreciated & loved their pet so deeply. This family had the presence of mind to understand that their pet wasn't gone...an angel was there! Thank you all for appreciating it as I did. Let's all give our ''unconditional companion'' some extra attention today in honor of the original author?
I for one will also include the posted pets & posters in my PRAYERS. God be with you! When our cat was diagnosed terminal...we took lots of pictures of our family with her. We have a beautiful scrapbook of her with us. It was very healing. Think about it?
