FUTURE AMERICA?

You awake each day to the Muslim muezzin call to prayer from the neighborhood mosque - as millions of Europeans already do.

Liberals espouse ?“diversity is our strength?” as Islamic enforcers cruise the cities in their quest to shutter, or harass any establishment that is contrary to Islamic ?“sharia?” Law. Guns are confiscated and stiff penalties are dished out to citizens who defy the new anti-gun laws. Women are told to cover their hair and face when in public.

You are cautious about attending public events or being part of any large crowd as these are the favorite targets of suicide bombers in their quest to exhibit violence against non-Muslims who resist conversion or surrender. Dissent has been stifled since the Fairness Doctrine was reinstated.

A new Senator is sworn in, one of several Senators that have recently converted to the Muslim faith. Muslim populated districts are increasingly changing the political landscape by sending more electees to Congress.

A recent ruling from the Supreme Court states sharia law does not violate the ?“separation of church and state.?” This ruling paves the way for Islamic controlled municipalities to govern every aspect of religious, political, and personal life of the local populace-- [amounting to a form of totalitarianism analogous to Communism].

The Hollywood Left gives up gay rights in favor of the much safer charms of polygamy.

As Mark Steyn [author of the New York Times bestseller ?“America Alone?”] puts it, ''The future belongs to the fecund and the confident. And the Islamists are both, while the West -- wedded to a multiculturalism that undercuts its own confidence, a welfare state that nudges it toward sloth and self-indulgence, and a childlessness that consigns it to oblivion -- is looking ever more like the ruins of a civilization.''

If you think this can't happen, you haven't been paying attention to what?’s been happening in Europe and the UK. Europe is almost certainly a goner, as Mark Steyn laments in his book, but America can still survive, prosper, and defend its freedom only if it continues to believe in itself, in the sturdier virtues of self-reliance (not government), in the centrality of family, and in the conviction that our country really is the world's last best hope.

The Muslims have a twenty year goal to conquer the West. They have only a short 13 years remaining until victory, as their quest started in 2000.

Wake up America before it is too late!

I've always had respect for you because you're a ''no BS, tell like it is'' kind of guy. So I'd like to respond to your post and hope you will afford me the same respect.

I believe you will agree with me the Constitution of the United States allows for and protects Freedom of Religion. I believe you will agree with me the tablets placed upon the Statue of Liberty state in part:

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles.
From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
''Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!'' cries she
With silent lips. ''Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!''

I believe you'll find liberals are not the only ones who espouse diversity. Many of our Republican friends also proclaim the importance of diversity. We are a country founded on diversity. While I don't disagree with you on the Islamic issue, we as a free nation and as outlined in our Constitution and Bill of Right are duty bound to uphold and recognize Freedom of Religion. Constitutionally we cannot say what religions are allowed and which are not.

While I'm not a strong proponent of the 2nd Amendment, I admit in today's troubled times we need to stand away from the those who would seek to take away our 2nd Amendment rights and I see those individuals in both parties. If we can't defend our borders, how are we to be expected to defend ourselves?

I believe you'll agree with me the Supreme Court is conservatively tilted. Therefore, you can't make the argument that a liberal Supreme Court ruled that sharia law does not violate separation of church and state. This ruling was made with only 2 conservative supreme justices dissenting. The Court basically stands at 5-4 on conservative vs. liberal robes.

Civilization was on a course of ruin far before Mr. Steyn wrote his book. One needs to look no further than the gluttony of politics, the hamhandedness of corporate greed, the compromisation of having to be the world's police force. Placing a Zionist state into the middle of the Arab nations and then allowing the Zionist to lobby our Congress for billions upon billions of dollars over the decades to ensure their safety. Any rational minded person knows you don't put a fox into a hen house. Yet we continue to maintain and defend the Zionist with our own tax dollars in order to help prop up our military industrial complex.

Look no further back than the late 60's and early 70's and you'll find that civilization was crumbling. We had terrorist back then as well. They were called Weathermen, Black Panthers, Students for a Democratic Society, and Yippies. But as lady liberty professes, we absorbed them into our society and came to accept their beliefs as our own. Therein lies the strength of your argument. Not liberals, not conservatives, but we the people. We the people are responsible for the world we live in today.

If the Muslims gain a foot hold in the United States it will only be because we allow them to do so. Turn away from the slant of media and rationalize your own thoughts. As FDR said, ''We have nothing to fear but fear itself''. It is the work of the news media, the politicians, and corporate America who puts that fear in our minds. It is up to us to separate the fear from the truth and return ourselves to the origins of our Constitution and demand adherence to it from our elected officials.

Only then will we awaken as a truly great Nation.

One more thing Nedl

I failed to include a response to your gay rights issue involving the Hollywood Left.

I know from reading your postings that you have a devout belief in the words contained in the Holy Bible. Far be it from me to belittle you for your belief as:

1). You find strength, harmony, and resolve from the good book; and,

2). you have the right to your beliefs and your faith in God.

I have my beliefs as well. Many of the passages you've quoted in your posts hold a meaning in living one's life to God.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it was Isaiah in verse 32:18 who said ''My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.''

Now I can't say with any degree of certainty whether Isaiah was speaking of monogomous relationships when he spoke of peaceful habitations. It could be interpreted that my people would also extend to homosexuals would it not? Could it not be argued that when God, speaking through Isaiah said ''my people'', he meant ALL people? Youth, aged, infirmed, crippled, criminal, married, single and yes, even homosexual?

The point I'm trying to make is homosexuality has always been with us. In the last 20 years homosexuals began to become prominently recognized not because they were gay, but because of their monetary stature. Wall Street and hundreds of advertisers recognized an untapped financial resource in those with an alternative lifestyle and helped exploit it bringing it to the national forefront.

Those with strong Christian beliefs took to the streets, to the airwaves, espousing their belief homosexuals were and are blasphemous to God. But if one looks and studies the history of mankind and civilization one will find homosexuals were extremely prominent as leaders, senators, philosphers, teachers, inventors, explorers and like it or not, men of religious stripe.

You are entitled to your beliefs as your religion teaches you to be. I wholly support it. But I ask you, with everything going on in the world today, just how relevant is same sex marriage? If we were to take all that animosity, convert it and channel it to say, the genocide going on in Darfur, wouldn't we all feel better as Christians? Isn't that what the good book teaches us? Do unto others as you would have others do unto you?

Look, I'm not gay. I know many people who are and guess what? They're just like you and me. You'd never know they were gay. This persecution of gays is nothing more than fearmongering. Do you believe a just God would want his people to persecute others while taking his words literally as gospel?

Ask yourself this, what has a gay person ever done to me that caused me any mental anguish or physical harm?

I believe you'll be surprised by your answer.
