I was watchin an old video of Journey today... Faithfully...

Man... New bands these days have no idea what it was like back then....

Bands used to tour via bus... the hard life. drugs I'm sure, but look what they went thru to bring us what no band today will ever bring again....

Sweet Connie... No Sugar... Faithfully.... Too many too mention....

Anyone remember when U used to goto the 5 seasons just to see the bus they rode in on??

My 1st group I saw was the Little River Band at the Iowa State Fair with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band...

Just thinkin' back.....

:-)

Association

Was there, remember that. Do you remember Paul Revere and the Raiders also coming to the auditorium? Great River Days ain't got nothing on the kind of entertainment that used to come to Muscatine for concerts! At least it was close to the top entertainment (at the time).

Bands

Seen a few.

Rare Earth and Bread at Hilton in Ames....1972.

Elton John...4 bucks a ticket at Hilton...1973?

Doobie Brothers farewell tour at the Five Seasons in Cedar Rapids.

James Taylor at Palmer College auditorium.

The Eagles at the Mark just a couple of years ago.

Curious....who would you pay top dollar to see these days?
