Great coming of age flick(Ione Skye is gorgeous),but not a great path of diplomacy.
I often ask myself, usually after I post something here that I'm thinking I might not should have, ''Self, it is what it is, you said what you said...and that's it. Now live with it.'' Which leads me to believe, had I taken just a moment longer, my point would have been better appreciated. More sensical..perhaps.
My quick point here, I suppose, is that if we all take just that extra moment longer to consider the ones who share the earth with us as someone who is just as worthy of the riches that we seek, all the while protecting the virtues we aspire to, despite our imperfections and travesties, which we have all encountered, we would be a freer, more balanced and driven society.

case in point

I really hate being a ''first responder'' to my own post(and yes, that was a subtle slam on Giuliani. What can I say, I'm listening to ''Aurora'' by the Foo Fighters).
I guess my point was that we, as individuals, can pretty much say whatever the hell we want, in public or otherwise, without real consequence.When was the last real slander or liable case in recent history? We can give our ''opinions'', as afforded us by the Constitution, on many subjects. And while sometimes regulated by local neocons, whose title is not limited to but more representative of, Republican ideologies, however baseless those ideologies are, more often than not our words more than our incesant need to war proliferates hate and indignities to all mankind. Radical or civilized.
