So, we've got a very driven, religiously motivated secular right(Republicans)....a sexually deviant moral majority(c'mon, that's Republican)...an amourously absconded liberal left(Democrats), and a national poll that says most of us think there is a whole lot wrong with the way things are(People who now consider themselves Dem's.)
So who is right? Who is wrong? Is there a difference, and do any of you really think a lot about it?
Most of us think about where we're going to get the money to buy our kids shoes, get a haircut, pay our car insurance. I know a lot of people, and most of them worry about how to make ends meet. How do I work the hours I need to, I HAVE to, too pay for the basics for my families existence, WITHOUT sacrificing a lot? And I know a lot of people that say ''FUCK IT, it is what it is and I'm okay with that!! Just tell me that things are gonna be okay tomorrow, and we'll worry about it then.''
I'm in an industry that employees 10's of millions of people nationally and abroad, an industry that has seen a 2or 3% pay increase over 10 years while seeing an employment increase of 25%, but offers no reasonable insurance coverage(corporate entities not withstanding, but...)
One might argue that I could have pursued another line of work, a different career. While that's true I did the best with what I was offered. It's all relative. Coulda', woulda, shoulda'!!!
Oh, how I wish my labor of love was driven by crude oil instead of Canola or Sunflower. Oh how I wish I would have studied in ''Study Hall'' instead of picking on the guy with acne, because that guy with acne could now probably offer me a 6 figure job!! Dammit!! I'm a geek now, why could'nt I have accepted it then?
Oh well.
Complacency and complicity. Two things I do not want to be when the powers that be decide what is right for you and me. I urge you all to stand up and shout, ''NO MORE!! I WILL NOT BE A PARTY TO THE NUETRALIZATION OF THE CONSTITUTION AND OF MY BASIC RIGHTS AS A HUMAN BEING. I WILL NOT STAND IDLY BY WHILE MY GOV'T CARRIES OUT THE AGENDAS OF THOSE WHO HAVE DECIDED THAT THEIR INTERPRETATION OF THE WILL OF THEIR GOD IS THE WILL THAT THE PEOPLE HAVE CHOSEN AS THEIR INTERPRETER.

You may disagree with me. You may think me sophmoric in my ideals and conceptions, but you have to at least acknowledge my words the opinion of the simple man.

unsolicited advice

i'm really not trying to pop the balloon. read don quixote. great literature offers great insight. the story does not realize the impossible dream, but it does provide lessons in how to avoid the pitfalls.
Come on man...

it's a family show...8 year olds read this stuff...try to stay away from the profanity...huh...you know I have no beef with anyone here and I respect you and your opinion and I'm all about no censorship...but please, dude...for the parent in me...pretty please...
