Never be over

You're right about that it will never be over. Never be over as long as Syria and Iran continue to arm the lunatics in Iraq to kill American service men as well innocent civilians by setting off bombs on roads, in markets and in Mosques. Never be over as long as a lunatic running Iran has a stated desire to eradicate Israel from the map. A lunatic who sends letters (Da'wa messages/convert to Islam) to German Chancellor Merkel and Bush. I don't want war with Iran but this nut claiming to be the one appointed to bring back the ''Mahadi'' wants exactly that. By drawing the world into this final conflict/war is how the Mahadi is returned to earth. He has repeatedly made this claim. Now it is easy to sit back and simply call him a lunatic and hope he goes away and try to ignore him. But he is a dangerous lunatic and one that needs watching.

It would seem to me

that if bringing back the ''Mahadi'' is what he wants and he believes that ''final conflict/war'' is the way to best bring this about, then the worst thing for the US and the rest of the world to do is to continue ratcheting up the possibility of military strikes that play right into his game. We need to continue to pursue a diplomatic resolution to the conflict rather than go in guns blazing and give him exactly what he wants.

I don't think the U.S. will go in guns blazing. I also don't believe there will be a diplomatic solution since Ahmadinejad has already stated that the nuclear issue is closed. I believe the fighting will start between Syria and Israel. Iran will come later.
