Hmmm

Ok, now I have more to think about. Someone said with my inexperience at selling, especially a high $$$ item as which I want to sell, they say that many scammers may be bidding for my item. I have heard of a few horror stories about scammers.
What seems to be the most popular types of scams someone would use on Ebay. Especially for high dollar items?
Item would be upward of $600. Should I have the item signed for at delivery?

Inexpierence?

It really doesn't take any experience to sell on ebay. Just amke sure to give the best details you can about the item(s). If your a seller then you have do a few things to worry about. If you accept checks or Money Orders you'll want to make it clear that item won't ship until the check clears and same for the money order. Other then a buyer not paying or sending a fake check or MO a seller really has nothing to worry about, as long as your completely honest in the description of your item. With a item at that price I'd ask for signature confirmation at delivery. You can either fork over insurance or list in your description that it's offered for a fee. Do you have a PayPal account? If so and you don't accept Credit Cards you won't be charged a fee from PayPal, unless they changed that. I have a PayPal business account so there's a fee when I get payments and when it was a personal account I didn't get any fees, but couldn't accept Charge Cards..
Help

I have a few links that I will post tomorrow. The links are from a user on Ebay who answers about every question you could imagine. When you first start on Ebay, you want to purchase cheap items on Ebay, just to get some feedback established first.

helpful

Links would be helpful to me. Someone told me to make a seperate account to sell and one to buy with. So if I give a negative feedback from buying and recieve one back, it wont go on my sellers account. My current account (9) items bought, has one blemish. Took one company 41 days to send my item after payment went thru, wasnt even the right one I ordered. I gave negative feedback and they returned the favor. At least with a seperate sellers account I wont have to kiss someones arse when the`ve done me wrong, just to not get a neg feedback.
