Our Offspring Fontanelle
Oooh. He?’s clever. And obviously knows exactly what he?’s doing. This is all a set up, people. Has to be. Yes, I?’m talking about George Bush?’s veto of the State Children?’s Health Insurance Program. Who, but a total stoned horned ogre would do that?
Maybe an ogre with something up his sleeve, eh? Has anyone thought of that? I?’m just waiting for him to drop the other shoe. Or throw it at a crippled puppy. Either way, there?’s a hidden agenda in there somewhere.

Can't wait
Can't wait for the vote to over-ride the veto. It will come up short for votes and the liberals will demonstrate once again how their ''leadership'' is ineffective!
Providing the health care will be in their hands shortly...then everything said about Bush (one man) can be said about liberal leadership (many people).
Thanks, davieboy; Will I be turning this back at ya real soon? Stay tuned.

the bigger issue
is not that an override might not succeed, but that he would veto this to begin with.
Not all Republicans are as Bush is, but he's not making it any easier for any Republican to win national office.
Unfortunately, his need to be right makes many Americans, mostly children, suffer.

Aside from
Weeman once more sticking his head back up the ass of the Republican Party nose first, let me ask you one thing Chosen.
How do you expect the almighty W to pay for the war if he signs legislation giving away free state sponsored health care to the future generations who'll be paying for this abomination of a war he got us into?
My god Chosen don't you understand W can't go to the uber-rich in America such as the pharmaceutical corporations, the insurance companies and the health maintenance organizations and ask them to scale back in order to make health care available for everyone.
My God Chosen, that would be like asking W to come off like Michael Moore!
As for the likes of Weeman, lets see what he has to say when Medicare is gone and there's no more Social Security left for him to take advantage of. Then we'll see how far his investment earnings take him should he suddenly become ill or incapacitated. I can assure you just like the sky is blue that Weeman will be one of the first in line, on the dole, looking for a free handout from the liberals.
