Not true to error on the positiv

Once again, obviously some one is either skipping through my post, or misreading it. Please dont think I am yelling, I am only doing caps so everone will see:

WE WERE APPROVED ON THURSDAY BY THE MUSCATINE FIRE DEPARTMENT TO OPEN. TWO, COUNT THEM, TWO FIREFIGHTERS WALKED THROUGH AND SAID ALL WAS GOOD AND TO HAVE FUN.

It wasn't until Friday night, 30 minutes before opening, that another fireman showed and said it was unsafe. What we are trying to get to the bottom of is this.... how can one crew say all is good and one crew say it is a deathtrap. Aren't all fireman trained the same?

There are absolutely none of us ''knocking'' the fire dept. We are simply trying to find out what I previously stated.

As for your comment on their ''meeting'', here is why we brought that up. A fireman, which I will not name, showed up Friday night. After the whole fiasco with the other crew and the Chief doing their walk through and us being closed, we asked Chief Dahlby why they shut us down and the other crew on Thursday said it was fine. His reply to us was that the crew on Thursday was not as ''highly trained'' in this type of structure as the unamed fireman that came Friday. So our position on this is, if the Friday unamed fireman was so ''highly teined'', as chief Dahlby said, why did he have to call in 7 other people to decided to shut us down?

This story goes much deeper than you guys on here know. It involves many people in Muscatine politics, many stories going around that are not the truth, and certain people of authority trying to blame everything on another public official, numerous phone calls to a certain official, that my taxes pay his salary, with no reply after alomost 3 days, and lets not leave out the Fire Department being at a store here in town that had the same haunted house construction that we were shut down for.

I will start a new post explaining as much as possible soon.

As I said before, our intention is not to ''knock'' anyone. I believe they are doing this to themselves by their constant inconsistancies in their story.
Is it possible?

Do you think perhaps it's possible that so many representives from the fire department made their way through your structure because they wanted to make an informed decision based on sound evidence? So that they could keep everyone involved safe within the bounds of the law. It is true that it is not their job to interpert the law, but rather to see that it is followed. I hate to imagine what may have happend had there been an accident and things had not been done to the standards of code for your specific set-up and structure. I think you are incorrect to assume that they would go out of their way to shut you down without cause. This is after all what they do for a living and I trust their judgement and the decision they made!
Wait a minute

You said that the fire cheif of Muscatine made the final decision on if the haunted house could stay open or had to close, also the same fire cheif decided to look the other way when a multi million dollar corp. did the same thing in putting in a haunted house.I guess what I am wondering is how this fire cheif is still the fire cheif with all his indessive decisions and his arrest record for running from the police after showing himself in a public place, which is public information.Man I am glad I don't live in Muscatine. It sounds like you guys have more of a problem then just fire safety in a haunted house.
I agree BUT

Ok I agree with that and i am by no means down grading any fireman that puts his or her life on the line on a daily basis, BUT all fire codes should be the same for any fireman that looks at something not each one having a different outlook of the inspection. The Blue teams inspection should be no different than the red team or the green teams inspection. If it is than we all have alot to worry about.
