Yessiree...I dare say with all of Daddy's wealth and influence, what with all the military deferrments, the alcohol and cocaine abuse cover-ups, the failed rehabs, the failed business ventures, laying in bed with Arabs as business partners, the midnight visits by a known gay male prostitute, the solicitation of underage congressional male pages on the internet, oh and lest we forget, the recent public humiliation of one of your own getting caught playing footsy with the police in a public bathroom stall and not having the testicular fortitude to man up and resign, I'd say that's darned impressive wouldn't you?

I think I'll take a chance and listen to someone else tell me their thoughts and opinions on how the country should be managed rather than sit-back and listen to the same old canards being bellowed aloud by the same tired cows in the same tired field.

...to listen to our stoned friend as much as you like. But the fact that you would consider taking him seriously tells us much about you and the problems this country faces.

Oh and also, the new ID is nice, but you might want to think about sticking to the old one. This gets confusing.

Daryl, you got it all wrong.

I wasn't saying that fathering a baby or going to rehab were petty things. Certainly they are not. I was referring to the juvenile things kids do to get into trouble when young.
I'm sorry that my sarcasm doesn't come through in print. It is a pity.

Not that I need to explain, but the the child my girlfriend had wasn't my biological child, and had I not said no would have ended up in a horrible foster system in Florida where she was born. I've loved that girl all her life and have been a part of her life, never looking at her as anything but my daughter. Was I the best ''Dad'' in the world? No. Could I have tried harder? Absolutely. Not living close by her very often, and the fact that her mother is a wench, made it hard at times to be in her life. And despite the fact that MY daughter ''hates'' me right now, I know she loves me like I love her.
What I'm getting at Daryl is that despite the lewd, crude, crazy ramblings I may post here, I take care of business before I have my fun. Speak ill of me if you like, or perhaps not at all. Just don't assume to much from my posts, and certainly pay no mind to BB. He claims to know so much about everyone, but knows only what he's told.

I don't think I got it ALL wrong, but do appreciate your explanation. Hopefully you can understand that when you state ''girlfriend had a baby'', I assumed it was yours. My apologies for the incorrect assumption. And when you say you ''had your share of problems...but all petty stuff'', I do tend to define ''petty'' differently.

If what you say about the girl is true, I can only hope that she comes to recognize that you at least tried.
