Yes, it's true. I partake in 'hom doobage', and it may have diverted cellular growth in the realm of grey matter, but I'm lost as far as who is who on this site. Nedl, BB, Orville, Chosen, Daryl, SL, SV, TNT, DDT, BYOB....who is who?

I agree with winger(God, I hope that's not her favorite band) when she said what she did about hiding behind user names. What I do love about this site is the posters who are obviously older than me who bash myself and others and then call us pathetic.
But I wasn't talking about you BB.

Help the boy out. One for all, all for one.

Peace
Ode to the old

I can remember when children were to be seen and not heard, same for the women.

I can remember when the Arabs knew their place and gas was $.20 a gallon and made with lead as an additive.

I can remember cruising the ones and grabbin' a burger at the Dog 'N Suds, Cheri Top, A & W, and not having to worry about trans fats, homosexuals and polluting the air with my heinous bitching and belly aching about things I have no control over and can't change. Even if I could I wouldn't; what would I have to complain about?

I can remember being young and thinking my sh*t didn't stink. Now that I closely resemble a prune I think I've earned the right to believe that anyone younger than me sh*t does stink and infringes upon my rights to troll through these pages.

I can remember when $5.00 bought you and your date a night on the town. Now when I see youngsters out and about the first things that runs through my mind is ''How'd they afford that car?'' and ''Where's the cops?''

I can remember when respect and honesty were common traits taught at home, in the school and at church. Now that I'm retired with a demonstrateable attitude not to accept change or anyone else's opinion, I've thrown all that I was taught out the window. Why should I share anything I've learned with a bunch of snot nosed, whiney, liberal, college educated punks?

I can remember looking in the mirror and seeing the person looking back at me feeling good about themselves. Now when I look in the mirror I hate the person looking back at me. Why?

Because I'm old and the world has passed me by. I had my chance at the brass ring and lost the opportunity. So now I make everyone's life as miserable as mine.

We're the denizens you find residing here. So much promise, so little return. Too stubborn to adapt to modern times or new ideas. That is who we are. Sad isn't it?
