Somewhere down in one of the posts you said that the crappies were not hitting since the water came up and you are 100% correct.
I was working on my trolling motor and went out for a test run yesterday, the motor worked great, but the fish did not. 1 crappie, 1 bluegill, and the small bass were hitting like there was no tomorrow.
The wind got tougher so I hung it up until a better day.

Two things I remember that my dear old dad told me.
1. Fish bite least when the wind is from the East and best when from the West.
2. Fish every day and you'll be there when they are biting.
He told me lots of other stuff. Unfortunately this and one other thing is all I remember. The other thing was ''sit down and shut up''. I never paid that no mind either. LOL.

I think I will give that a try, but not the sit down and shut up part.
I have to help a friends do some restocking on a pond then around 10;00 am we will try our luck.
