Why did my post upset you? I find your name no where in it. I feel bad that you read as a defense for chosen.

thanks for input, married

I don't come to this site often, I'm on the computer so much at work, family obligations @ home; I get tired & lazy. I'm also REALLY ''computer limited'', about posting. I just thought that here was a site with my neighbors, people in my own community that I could relate to.
I don't know anyone else's pasts on this site. They are what I read. The world I choose to live in, the friends I surround myself with, would never say some of the mean things I have read on this board to a friend, or an enemy.
That is what I was referring to. Our town has good & bad traits. We deal with the positive & negative aspects in our lives. I try to find the ''positive in every negative'', IF I FEEL strong enough! If I feel overwhelmed, I reach out to my friends, co-workers & neighbors.
I DID, on this site, after we lost our precious dog, Angel Marie. The love & support was overwhelming! This site has beautiful, loving & caring people here. There was one negative poster,(ignored & gone). The words I read gave me strength. I could feel the love & compassion in everyone's words. My gratitude is overwhelming TO EVERYONE that reached out.
Chosen's words touched me & I responded. Chosen may have deserved the negative comments because of past events. Chosen still had a point about the negativity.
Do I or anyone else want this to be the ''PollyAnna site?'' HECK NO! Life ISN'T like that! Still, I sure wish that everyone realized & understood that words can cut so DEEPLY. A slap in the face hurts for a while. Words can hurt for years.
When my grandaughters were in preschool, they were taught that they were not allowed to say the naughty S word. Stupid. The pre-school teachers know what they are talking about, don't they?
