I will not argue politics. Just state an opinion, perhaps. Nor will I be drawn in on these silly board fights. I would enjoy reading about your jobs, families, hobbies and such as that.
You have a great town here, with a pretty downtown when the flowers are in bloom on the lamp posts. A very nice touch.

Thank you for complimenting our fair little city. I am glad you were able to see the beauty through the blights. Welcome to Neighborhood link and welcome to Muscatine.

I don't post often but I would like to offer you my opinion on some posters here for your information. This is only my opinion, so take it as you may. For the most part, no matter how the posts appear to read, the posters here are a good bunch that really mean no harm. We all just possess our own strong beliefs and none of us are easily swayed.

First, the poster who calls himself ''chosen''. A good hearted man and a gentle soul. Just easily swayed by stronger minded individuals that sometimes may lead him down the wrong path.

Next, the poster who calls himself nedl. Also a kind hearted but tough old bird who will let no one sway his way of thinking, right, wrong or indifferent.

Next, the poster who calls himself ''stoner vote''. This is really a complex individual with a very high intelligence level and blessed with great wit and humor. He is also a very troubled and angry individual that is sometimes out of control, but most always regretful when he goes beyond the limit. In my opinion, one of the most interesting posters.

Then there is ''big brother''. Also an intelligent individual but obsessed with undermining Chosen and anything remotely connected with Chosen for reasons only he knows.

And last but not least, there is ''Lil''. Like myself, Lil can sometimes be snooty, (sorry Lil) judgmental and a spell check freak. That said, Lil most always approaches subjects with no-nonsense solutions and is usually right on with her suggestions.

I am sorry to have left out the majority of posters here on neighborhood link but space does not allow me to elaborate further. All of you have much to contribute in your own individual ways

I believe I have named the most recent posters of late that you may recognize.

So, don't get upset or consider leaving because one or any of the above, also myself becomes a little passionate with the keyboard. In reality, it is mostly all in fun and a place to let off a little steam while remaining anonymous.

First, sorry I didn't include you in my list. I tried to choose some of the most opinionated and/or controversial posters (such as myself) to describe.

To answer your question, I have been lurking of late and really didn't have an opinion on some of the latest posts. Some of which were interesting, some funny and some just the same old rhetoric. To tell you the truth, I really don't know why I replied to this one. Thank you for the kind words and I appreciate your taking the time to post them.
