HOW DO I GET THIS?

I am an idiot at ''surfing'' the internet! I had trouble working my DVD player today, guys! I do a good job @ the job I'm at, WITH the programs I work with on the computer. An actual person sat down with me and taught me the ropes. (Contrary to my kids beliefs, I really am not a total idiot, just a computer idiot)! I figured out Muscatine Discussions? I need help.
I tried to copy & paste the sites you posted, Chosen. When I click on internet, MSN comes up. I pasted the site you told me to go to & all I got were a bunch of ads! Nothing that made sense. I was able to get to the you tube site last night? What am I doing wrong?
I have tried to look on the internet before, but get frustrated @ pop-ups & ads. My skills are limited. Any ''kind information'' would be appreciated. ( I already get teased enough by my friends & younger co-workers).
