The air I breathe
Becomes less and less
Pushing on these walls
That begin to crush my bones.
Screaming
I release my pain,
The red tears
Seep through the cuts
Thoughts overload my mind
Looking for a way out
Eventually filling up in my eyes
Slowly released
Rolling down my face
One by one
Brushing them away
The anger builds
I cry for help
Everybody hears me
Nobody listens
Darkness closing in as
I feel myself falling
Down this
Bottomless pit

that don't rhyme are just random words wandering about on a page. Real poems rhyme. It's much harder to find words that rhyme to fit together to express a thought. IMO.

The Shooter

So many times,
I?’ve walked these halls.
Teased and in fear
From everyone I saw.
Not good enough for here,
Bright enough for there.
The place I belonged,
Didn?’t seem to be anywhere.
So many times,
I just longed for a hello.
Too many times,
With no place to go.
With my tears fading in the past,
And my heart growing cold.
Vengeance and revenge,
Giving me something to behold.
I write these words,
In the prelude of today.
To let the world know,
They have to find a way.
With my death at hand,
And my revenge complete.
I step over bodies,
Knowing my defeat.
Pulling the trigger,
Giving my last sigh.
Leaving you to answer,
My question,
WHY?
